Taco Bell is leveraging its fans’ loyalty with a new menu designed entirely by regular customers. The Fan Style menu features three custom items created by actual Taco Bell diners, all inspired by their personal orders at the local drive-thru. It launches on November 20 and will only be available for a limited time, as Taco Bell announced in a statement shared with Food & Wine.

You can choose from Brock’s California Crunchwrap, Kajol’s Burrito Bliss, or Sandra’s Cantina Craze on your next visit — all of which are existing Taco Bell menu items with a few key tweaks. As you likely already know, the California-based chain welcomes plenty of customization and vegetarian modifications, making its menu a true choose-your-own adventure.
The Fan Style feature, part of Taco Bell’s 2025 menu strategy announced at the March Live conferencewas first released in the app last July. It allows diners to showcase their creativity by participating in a social media-inspired experience: They can order customized menu items created by other diners and earn reward points for their own creations.
The minds at Taco Bell HQ sifted through 40,000 entries to select the top three, and it just so happens that two creations hail from the Midwest — Missouri and Michigan. The third is from Kentucky. As for the specific criteria, judges picked the menu items based on “creativity, craveability, and flavor innovation.”

Let’s walk through those menu creations, shall we?
First up: Taco Bell is offering a hearty take on a decades-old menu staple. (And certainly, not the first customization of this handheld meal.) Brock from Holton, Michigan, created the “California Crunchwrap,” which adds seasoned fries and guac to the Taco Bell classic. That’s a modification we can certainly get behind.
“I kept seeing people in California add fries to their burritos, so one day I tried it in a Crunchwrap instead — and it just worked,” Brock says. “Now it’s my new Taco Bell staple, and I can’t wait for people everywhere to try it.”
Meanwhile, a custom vegetarian burrito is coming your way to fulfill your Meatless Monday cravings. Kajol from Louisville, Kentucky, enjoys her Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito with extra pico de gallo, Fiesta Strips, and Avocado Ranch, calling it a “simple but really satisfying meal.”

Landing on a fresh note, the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco packs a classic Crispy Taco with veggies and sauces — lettuce, tomatoes, Creamy Jalapeño Sauce, and reduced-fat sour cream — offering a flavorful alternative to the classic beef taco. Sandra from St. Louis, Missouri, envisioned it, saying it’s the result of a little curiosity and experimentation.
“I usually go for beef, but one day I tried the new Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco and started swapping in my own toppings just to see what would happen,” Sandra says.
