OnePlus Open Update OxygenOS 16.0.2.400 Brings Smart Sidebar Tools And Photos App Improvements

OnePlus started rolling out OxygenOS 16.0.2.400 for the OnePlus Open in India. The update hits a small group of users first, with a wider release coming in a few days.

What’s New

You can now open storage cleanup tools directly from Smart Sidebar instead of digging through settings. The update lets you resize app icons and their shortcuts, then drag them around to rearrange them. You can also stack 2×1 widgets on your home screen to save space.

App clones work the same way now. You can resize their icons and add shortcuts just like regular apps.

The Photos app has three new filters: Motion Photo, Screenshots & screen recordings, and Edited. Finding specific types of media is faster now. Thumbnails load quicker because OnePlus improved how the app processes them.

Private Safe now lets you edit photos and videos without unlocking them first. You get convenience without losing security.

Phone Manager will ask if you want automatic blocklist updates over Wi-Fi and mobile data. Turn this on and the blocklist updates right away, which means better spam detection and protection.

Reporting and Rollout

Indian users can report bugs two ways: through the Bug Report section in the OnePlus Community App profile, or by dialing *#800# to open the feedback tool.
