The Flagship Phone Everyone Ignores Is Now Even Better

It wasn’t a bad year for phones, with solid releases from the usual players like Samsung, Google, Motorola, and Apple. And while others stayed in the spotlight, others fell back into the shadows to be forgotten. Despite rave reviews, the OnePlus 13 is one of those phones, scoring a 9/10 in our reviewyet barely being talked about after its initial launch.

It’s one of those phones that we can easily recommend if you’re looking for a device at the flagship level without all the cost.

And while we loved it at its MSRP, we now love it even thanks to a hefty discount. For a limited time, you can score $200 off, bringing it down to just $800. It’s a stellar price for one of the best phones out right now.

A big surprise

OnePlus has been making phones for some years now, and while it did stumble the past few years, the OnePlus 13 is one of its strongest entries ever. Not only are you getting a phone with a great design, but it also delivers impressive power and excellent battery life.

The cameras are quite good, especially the main sensor, with the Android experience also being excellent as well. OnePlus doesn’t quite nail its AI features, but that can always be improved in future software updates. The base is what’s important, and it’s quite solid here.

No carrier support

The only problem is that it’s not available with any US carriers, which can be a bit of a problem if you’re looking for local support. Of course, OnePlus phones haven’t really been a part of the carrier seen, except for some releases in the past on T-Mobile.

What kind of hardware?

The OnePlus 13 features a 6.82-inch OLED screen and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor that’s paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. You get a triple camera setup in the rear, with a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP telephoto.

It packs a 6,000mAh battery for impressive battery life, and can also handle up to 100W wired charging, which is fantastic. There’s also wireless charging, along with an IP69 rating. It’s durable to say the least.

For the most part, you can’t go wrong here. It’s just really that good.

The OnePlus 13 is a beast of a phone. With a refreshed design, a mostly curveless display, and a massive 6,000mAh battery capable of getting you through a day without breaking a sweat, this could be the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphone to beat in 2025. And hey, it’s got a pretty great camera system, too.
