Sam, 28, took to Instagram on Monday with a quote expressing the gratitude he and Britney had felt after receiving kind words amid the troubled time.
‘We have felt your support,’ the Tehran, Iran-born actor and fitness professional said.
‘We are taking things positively and moving forward with our future. It’s hard but we are not alone. Thank you for respecting our privacy. We will be expanding our family soon.’
Britney, who announced she and Sam were expecting their first child together last month, broke the sad news in a joint statement posted to her Instagram account on Saturday.

‘It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,’ the message from Spears and Asghari read.
‘This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along however we were overly excited to share the good news.’
The couple said they would continue in their attempts to have another child.
‘Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.’

She shared a Sex and the City meme that featured the character Carrie Bradshaw with heavy eye makeup saying: ‘I am not in the mood to be with a bunch of people.’

Last year, Britney claimed she was forced on to birth control while she was under her 13-year-long conservatorship, which terminated last November.

In a court hearing in June last year, Britney spoke out against her conservatorship publicly, as she said she feels ‘traumatized’ by the controlling system she has been placed under.

‘I want to end this conservatorship without being evaluated. This conservatorship is doing me way more harm than good. I deserve to have a life, I’ve worked my whole life. I deserve to have a two to three-year break.’
