A statement issued by the company’s press service said: “ATS Company in Tolyatti, Russia, is studying the possibility of manufacturing new versions of LADA Aura cars that operate on gasoline and natural gas.”

The statement added: “We have a copy of the LADA Aura car located in our factory in Tolyatti, and we are working in this factory on a number of dual fuel projects that use gasoline and natural gas, and we are studying the possibility of using this fuel in Lada cars, but it is currently too early to talk about launching the LADA Aura CNG version that will operate with this fuel.”

At the end of last April, Russian media also revealed an electric version of the car, “седана LADA e-Aura”, which was equipped with an electric motor with a power of 163 horsepower and a torque of 240 Newton metres. This version also had a “lithium-nickel-cobalt-manganese” battery, sufficient for it to travel a distance of 350 km on a single charge.

It should be noted that sales of the new Lada Aura sedan began last November. This car is considered an upgraded version of the famous Vesta cars produced by AvtoVAZ, but it received modifications that make it more modern and provides better standards for passenger comfort. The car comes with a body length of 466 cm, width of 176 cm, height of 149 cm, and a ground clearance distance of 17.8 cm. It has a 1.8-liter engine with a power of 122 horsepower.
