With the new version of iOS 26.2, Apple added a new slider to the phone’s lock screen customization menu, allowing the user to control the degree of transparency of the “liquid glass” feature that shows the clock, with two options: Clear or Tinted.

With the update, the “Reminders” application on the iPhone received a new alarm. After specifying the time for the reminder, the user can now activate the Urgent or “Urgent” option so that his phone will issue an audio alert at the time he specified for the reminder.

With iOS 26.2, iPhone users have new options to control the flash that appears to them when notifications arrive on the phone. It is now possible to show the notification through an LED light on the phone, or through a light that appears on the screen, or through both options.

These settings can be adjusted by going to the Settings menu on the phone, then the Accessibility option, then the Audio & Visual option, and then clicking on the Flash for Alerts option.

One of the important things that this update brings is the ability to use the Live Translation feature for AirPods users in Europe.

iPhones also got improved icons and emojis, and some features related to increasing data security.
